It's late and I'm working on two new BLAUDO* tunes that are to be recorded in the very near future. I'll be visiting L.A. and wrapping up vocals on the last round of recordings before moving onto these... and others that are slated for the next round of recordings. I just received the updated mixes of two songs and am really excited with what I'm hearing. I had the pleasure of attending a show by THE WANDERING ENDORPHIN* at a coffee house in Evanston this evening. I initially was introduced to his playing when I attended an open mic in 2004 and was instantly into what he was doing and his amazing ability to do it. Months later I was hurridly scooting down Michigan Avenue when I ran across him playing on a corner. It was great to hear again and I bought his CD, which I listened to extensively for some time afterwards. Not only did his playing come across, but the songs were strong and his voice naturally suited and enhanced his music. Tonight was the first time I was able to sit down and watch him play for an extended amount of time. It was purely enjoyable and I highly recommend checking him out. A couple of sips of wine and some deep inhales are rounding out the evening nicely...
